This fall, Vermejo and The Ranch at Laguna Beach come together for special culinary experiences in Laguna Beach. In spring 2027, the collaboration continues at Vermejo with three days of food, exploration, and connection to the land.

The first chapter begins in California. Join the chefs of Vermejo and The Ranch at Laguna Beach for an intimate, two-night culinary collaboration in The Ranch’s Chef’s Garden. Each evening will bring together seasonal ingredients, flavors inspired by both destinations, and stories from the people who bring these places to life.

Spend three nights immersed in the grand landscapes, elevated flavors, and authentic hospitality of our reserve. Enjoy special culinary showcases crafted by Executive Chef Kyle, alongside curated outdoor activities and space to take in the sheer scale of the land. CHEF KYLE ST. JOHN
Executive Chef | Harvest at The Ranch at Laguna Beach
Inspired by the coastal landscape of Laguna Beach, Chef Kyle St. John creates seasonal, ingredient-driven menus that reflect the flavors and rhythm found between land and sea. He works closely with the team at our on-site Harvest Farm to ensure each plate features backyard bounties of the season, while also connecting with local, ocean-friendly fishermen to bring incredible seafood dishes to the menu year-round.
CHEF CHRISTIAN CONCEPCION
Executive Chef | Vermejo, a Ted Turner Reserve
Drawing from the cultural history of New Mexico and southern Colorado, Chef Christian Concepcion creates seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine rooted in Native American and Spanish influences, as well as the region’s farming, cowboy, and hunting traditions. His experience spans luxury resort dining and acclaimed fine-dining kitchens, including José Andrés’ Bazaar Meat and Noma in Copenhagen.
